FIGHT FOR AIR CLIMB

On April 16, 2016 a group of firefighters from all over Metro Atlanta will step up to the challenge of climbing 51 floors of stairs to help raise money for the American Lung Association. Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services will be one of those teams. Last year Fayette County dominated the competition with medals, largest team, and most money raised. We want this year to be NO DIFFERENT. With this this being the Ten Year Anniversary of the climb we want to make team Fayette Fire shine. We have members from Peachtree City Fire and the City of Fayetteville Fire departments joining us this year. The Fire Department is a family that some are chosen for.

The American Lung Association is an organization close to my heart as my Son lived his childhood with Asthma.

The hardest part is telling a child that he or she cannot play as much as they want because of limitations that could put them in a life threatening position. A child SHOULD be able to do as much as they want. Please help Fayette Fire help all the children that have a difficult time playing and be all that they want to be. Life for anybody should not be A Fight For Air. Thanks again for all the support in raising Fayette to the top.

Did you know about all the great work that the American Lung Association is doing to change the lives of people living in our community? Help me make an impact by making a donation today toward my participation in the Fight for Air Climb - Atlanta, GA. Every little bit helps and you can be certain that your gift will make a difference.

ABOUT THIS EVENT:

On April 16, 2016 the American Lung Association will host the 10 Year Anniversary Fight for Air Climb – a vertical race to the top of One Ninety One Peachtree Tower in downtown Atlanta. By joining the Fight for Air Climb, you are helping to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by lung disease. Once you register, you'll have access to your Fight for Air Climb Participant Center where fundraising is made is easy and fun. You’ll have the ability to customize your personal web page and share your reason for climbing, send emails to ask others to join you or donate, and even download Facebook and smart phone apps. We are here to help you, from the first step in your climb all the way to the top!
